Lay the pants flat on a hard surface and smooth out any wrinkles. Measure straight across the waistband, from one side seam to the other. Double this number to determine the total waist measurement. - 2LENGTH
Measured with the garment laid flat. The length is taken from the top of the waistband to the bottom hem along the side seam. This measurement reflects the full outseam of the trousers.
